Privacy at Technical Diagrams

Technical Diagrams provides a public gallery and a browser editor without user accounts. The site does not add advertising trackers or analytics scripts. You can browse examples, edit a scene, and export files without submitting an email address or signing in.

The editor keeps your review scores in your browser’s local storage. Clearing this site’s browser storage removes those local reviews. Downloaded JSON and SVG files are saved by your browser. A shared preset encodes its contents in the URL fragment. Fragments are not sent in HTTP requests to the server, but anyone who receives the full link can read the preset. Avoid placing secrets or sensitive system details in links, screenshots, or exported examples.

The public API serves catalog data and generated SVGs for existing recipes. The developer sandbox sends your selected recipe ID, theme, and accent as URL parameters. The MCP server processes read-only tool calls without an account or persistent application database. Its render tool accepts existing recipe IDs rather than private user-authored scenes. The project does not intentionally store tool request contents.

Netlify hosts the site and can process network information such as IP addresses, request URLs, and operational logs to deliver and secure it. This project does not control all hosting-provider retention settings. External GitHub links take you to a separate service with its own privacy practices. Do not post sensitive scene data in public issues.

This notice describes the current implementation, updated September 7, 2026. Changes that introduce accounts, analytics, uploads, or storage should update this page before release. Contact the maintainer through the contact page with questions about the implementation or local data removal.
